Feel Good Friday - Your Favorite Pizza Toppings!

Happy Friday, Atlassian Community!

Pizzas were once a staple of our Friday evenings. As our kids have gotten older, we've started going out to eat together instead of ordering in, but pizzas are still a favorite of mine!

I also remember enjoying Big Foot Pizza from Pizza Hut on Saturday nights with my cousins growing up!

Sooo, community - what are those favorite toppings on a pizza that hit just right? (No judgement if you say pineapple!)

I've gotta say, I think pineapple is great on pizza... and on burgers! I'm also a big fan of BBQ chicken pizza. Yum. And there's a pretty delish Cheesesteak pizza at a place nearby that I eat more often than I should (cheesesteak, mozzarella, Alfredo sauce, peppers, onions - the works!)

YUM! Those all sound amazing. I love the unique pizzas. We made a pickle pizza once that was fantastic.

My favourite one is called "Slavonska pizza" - it's actually named after one region in Croatia where I'm from. We're mainly talking about sausages, pepperoni, bacon, and potentially fried egg and/or cream 🍕

I've tried a lot of different variants and toppings over the years, but that one stuck with me (probably because I eat those groceries every day 😅)

Some of my favorite toppings are jalapeños and corn—they’re my go-to choices. I’m not sure if cheese counts as a topping, but I really love blue cheese.

Not wanting to sound like the pizza police here, but living in Rome, Italy for more than 50% of my life, there are certain things that don't belong on a pizza....

Having said that, I don't eat cheese, so my selection of toppings is limited - I tend to eat Salsicce e Broccoli (sausage and broccoli), Capricciosa or a Diavola.

I think there are just two types of pizza at this point - Italian pizza ....and not-Italian pizza. LOL!

I once spent 3 months working long hours in Belgium while staying in a motel in the middle of nowhere, often the only place open was a small local pizzeria run by people who didn't speak English and I didn't speak Flemish, and I couldn't read the menu, so we compromised and I had Hawaiian 2 or 3 nights a week for 3 months.

At university there was a place that did 24" by 18" pizzas, I don't remember if I had a favourite topping then, but my roommate treated them as single person orders.

Nowadays I make my own pizzas, the most successful of which with my picky daughter has been courgette, red onion, and chorizo bits with a bbq sauce drizzle.

I love anything spicy, and lots of banana peppers to cut through the richness.

I like red sauce and mozzarella with pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, mushrooms, peppers (green or banana), or onions—but no more than 2 toppings at a time and only 1 meat at a time. Sometimes I'll order extra cheese when I get it from a place that doesn't put enough cheese (in my opinion).

YUM, I love black truffle anything, but rarely have an opportunity to have it on pizza! The funny thing is, I don't really love mushrooms on anything, but truffles - anywhere, anytime!

while getting older i often add chilli or jalapenos on top - for the special twist on my tongue :-O

I'm not a big fan of pizza, but my family is... So, from time to time we order some :) Among the ones I can't resist are 7 cheeses and the one with spinach :)

I love banana and Nutella pizza - it’s like having dessert for dinner: sweet, creamy, a little gooey, and absolutely perfect with a warm, slightly crispy crust. 🍌🍫
