Apparently, "on the Friday before Labor Day, National College Colors Day encourages everyone to display their team spirit. Across the United States students, parents, family, fans, and alumni will be wearing their team colors. Be sure you're celebrating by wearing your college team's colors and apparel."
While I don't feel passionate about most teams (and therefore, their colors), I do love the camaraderie on game days! Here's a picture of a shirt I usually reserve for those days...

So, community, what are your team's colors? Whether it's your college, your favorite team, or simply your favorite color - share them below!
Ha, love it Ananjan_miniOrange - I definitely tend to just dress in what's comfortable that day. Living in Wisconsin sometimes means grabbing the green and gold for the Green Bay Packers...and occasionally Red and White for the UW-Madison Badgers. They're not great colors for my complexion though. 😅
Mine would probably be Atlassian blue 💙 and forest green 🌲 Those are definitely the colors I gravitate toward most.
Forest green especially always feels calm, warm, and easy to wear 😊 💚
Great color choices! Atlassian blue is definitely one of my top colors - a friend even had a similar color for bridesmaid dresses a few years ago and it was 🔥.
Well, thanks Amanda for the splendid topic. I am working in a team of eight (not long ago nine) software devs responsible for maintaining and reshaping the content management system used by our editors to create news articles / audio / video for our media outlet.
I asked Gemini to create a logo for our team in the style of a NASA mission patch. For now, we don't have wearables, but I made background images for our computer- and smartphone-screens.
The buildings in the background represent the town-hall and two churches of the city of Osnabrück which is where we are based. The nine stars represent our staff. I've chosen a latin motto as a nod to the bold way the US military does.
I also had coffee mugs made. Since I am currently working from home and my mug is stationed at the office, I can only offer a prototype image, but I think you get the idea
.
Okay then, so much for my contribution to the topic.
What a fun idea to build/solidify the team culture. I always love some company swag and this is such a fun way to represent the team! A few years ago, we did team shirts. Nothing fancy, but it was fun at the retreat to have our own little "uniform" haha!
Since the team I support plays rugby, it's a fairly obvious choice of colour; All Blacks
It seems like I suppose this team every day in my attire, @Stephen_Lugton - ok, maybe not but it's my preferred color for clothing nowadays.
I don't follow sports anymore but I still feel a fondness for the Boston Celtics and their green. I work at Dartmouth College, also a green but darker.
Happy Labor Day to all who celebrate!
I'll add a pic of my kiddo for tax. These are my college's colors - pic from a million years ago at the Wisconsin State Fair. My oldest is considering UW-Milwaukee for college - and it's where my husband and I met! 🖤💛🖤💛
I went to a wee-tiny liberal arts uni with no football team, but our colors were forest green and gold. We were more likely to be in a theater or a gallery than on a field or a court 😂
When it comes to sports, living in Oklahoma City means I Thunder up in blue and orange!
Marching with the Pride of West Virginia Mountaineer Marching Band was one of the greatest things I've ever gotten to do and I'll always cherish my time there. My heart bleeds gold and blue.
Sharing some of my favorite memories from my time with the band. Thanks for the trip back down memory lane.

Wow, love this, @Chris Rainey!!! I marched in high school (our colors were blue and gold, too!), but not college. Such good memories from marching band though. Thank you so much for sharing the videos! 💙💛
