Happy New Year, everyone!
And a very happy first Feel Good Friday of the year π±β¨
What better way to kick things off than with something simple and thoughtful?
The start of a new year often comes with big plans, long resolutions, and endless to-do lists. But sometimes, the simplest questions lead to the most meaningful reflections.
So for this Feel Good Friday, letβs keep it easy and intentional.
If you had to pick just ONE word to describe how you want this year to feel, what would it be?
Not a goal.
Not a checklist.
Just a feeling you want to carry through the year.
No explanations required, though stories are always welcome π
For me, that word is Explore.
Not just exploring new places (though I wonβt say no to that), but exploring moments - slow mornings, unfamiliar paths, spontaneous plans, and new versions of myself. Exploration doesnβt always mean going far, sometimes itβs about seeing familiar things with fresh eyes.
Thatβs the energy I want to carry into this year: curiosity over certainty, experience over perfection.
Now Iβm curious - whatβs your one word for the year?
Well said, Claire. The ability to adapt is often what turns challenges into progress.
noncombative (in all senses of the word)
I fear that it will not feel this way, but you specified how we want it to feel. ποΈ
Fair point. Even if itβs not perfect, aiming for it is still progress.
Resilience
2025 was a difficult year. I'm not sure what 2026 is going to look like yet, but I'm determined to make it through. πͺπΌ
Thatβs completely valid. You donβt need to have it all figured out, just making it through counts. Rooting for you π
You have my support, I wish you all the best! πͺπ»
