It's 5am in Sydney, so let's kick off Feel Good Friday! (This gives new meaning to the saying, "It's 5:00 somewhere")
Today was the first day of the Wisconsin State Fair. While I won't be going this year due to too many other commitments, it's always fun thinking about my favorite parts of our local fairs!
I usually make sure to have some special, flavored milk (root beer!), my favorite fries with chive sauce, take a ride on the BIG slide, and watch the pigs race (so cute!) Here's a collage from a few of our previous visits to the fair.
Do you visit any fairs or festivals every year? Any favorites? Any new ones you're looking to check out?
Happy Friday!

Same here - it's been a few years since I last visited a fair. There are many held in Estonia and I particularly enjoy the winter/Christmas ones. Hopefully I'll be able to attend some this year 😊
Ahh!! Same for me as well 🙃 Been few years since we went to a fair. Last fair we attended was the WA state fair in Christmas 2022. Hope this year we are able to visit some state fairs :)
I really enjoy attending festivals and fairs—especially Christmas ones. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the chance to visit any recently. My favorite is the Christmas fair we used to have in my city. It featured one of the tallest Christmas trees on the main square, live concerts, cozy street cafes, and that unmistakable scent of cinnamon in the air. Since our city boasts one of the largest squares in Europe, there was always plenty to do for children, too, rides and a huge skating rink, and festive music playing from every corner.
