Hey folks, we’re just getting started with Trello, so we’re still on a standard account. I don’t have support right now, so I’m hoping you can help me.
I created an account:
office@…
User xyc
I used that to start exploring and learning the tool. We tested a bit and kept going. By now we like Trello and have already set up quite a bit.
The Atlassian email should be the same as the one in Trello. So I need to change the Trello email from office@…com to admin@…com. However, admin@…com is already used in Atlassian.
However, the email address should now be changed to mine, since I’m the admin and the office@ address belongs to the back office user. That user is now supposed to work with Trello as well, which wasn’t originally planned.
So I need to change the email. But that doesn’t work, because my email is already registered with Atlassian. I’m not fully clear on Atlassian, Jira, Trello… it’s a bit complicated.
In any case, when I try to change the email I always get this message:
Sorry, we couldn't change your email
Your email change request could not be processed because admin@…com is already associated with another Atlassian account.Log in to view your account. If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it here.
If you didn't request this change, you can safely ignore this email.
