"Upgrade" an Item in a Checklist to a Checklist

I can convert an item on the checklist to a card but that's two levels up. I want to expand an item in a Checklist to become its own Checklist, i.e. only one level up.

@Eddie Chu Why not just add a new checklist to the card? Checklists can't be nested, so if you are taking a checklist item and turning it into it's own checklist, you either need a new card or you just add another checklist to the same card

Thanks. I'm looking at using the Trello structure like an outline and expand and contract each level regardless of what name is attached to the level in planning out a project.

Doing what you suggest would require me to retype entries. It's not the end of the world but cumbersome.

Too bad. I'm back to using Excel and regular project management tools.
