I liked starting Trello in the Homepage View [Atlassian Resources] to get an overview of goings-on.
That used to work well, and alongside of comments and due cards, I also got to see cards (self-)assigned to me.
That doesn't seem to be the case anymore?
The support resource page linked above is pretty vague. It looks like only checklist items that are also assigned to me would appear, or cards assigned to me with a due date? Let's not begin about Inbox because where does that information black hole even live.
All I'm getting is old comments, and no checklists--even while I'm assigned to the card.
Am I right concluding only real tasks (dated and assigned) [1] are gonna show up now?
To be honest, since the last overhaul, Trello has actually gotten worse. I'm actually relying more on our [free, for now] Confluence to get anything done these days. But to me, Confluence is more meta-work, while Trello really ought to be our daily power-house.
Is there a bug? Are Atlassian blind testing features? Have there been changes in the system workflow?
Home really needs a overhaul but all it seems to have got is reduction and limitation--it doesn't even have a URL anymore, right? [2] Anyway, it's not working as I have been used to and I'm not sure why and not liking it.
[1] Following that logic, every card now should appear in the Highlights ever since Atlassian decided every card is a task.
[2] Edit: forgot to mention I'm aware of the u/username/Cards view, but that's hidden under Account (why even?) and shows a weird 'overlay' now with all other navigation gone; another incomprehensible UI move.
