not able to add members to team

Me And My friend have created free Trello accounts two days back. When we are trying to add members to the team the "Invite to Team" Button is not working (it blinks and nothing happens) and when I try to share the boards with the shareable link the other user is getting the error "Unfortunately, this invitation link has been deactivated. Perhaps you could ask for a new one?". I am not sure what is the problem any help will be appreciated, Thanks.

@Mark Falcon this sounds like something you'll need to report directly to Trello. If you go back to trello.com/contact you can submit your question to Trello support, rather than to the community.
