how to move from trello ? (new design is the end of this product)

It seems like last year Trello is going down, drowning itself by the its new design. They desperately want to change something in the product that has worked perfectly for years. very unfortunate as I used Trello for a long time, but I don't have much hope anymore.

Could anyone recommend a good competitor that is more stable and consistent? I wonder if there is a script that would move all Trello boards and cards to a better app? Maybe to Notion's task list?

I have a lot of info stored in the comments, and those comments are unreadable on the laptop screen since now they take only a very small portion of the screen on the right instead of a full-screen view below the description as before. I know there is some 3rd party github script to return to the old design, but I have some concerns about security.

Hi @Константин Бирюков ,

Sorry to hear you’re frustrated with the changes. Atlassian has been rolling out some big updates lately, which can feel disruptive to long-time users.

The good news is that the core Trello experience is still intact. They’ve added new features like an Inbox for capturing tasks from email and Slack, a Planner for calendar integration, and smarter navigation.

P.S. If you’re looking for even more power, we wait you to the Jira Life!

There are bells and whistles like inbox or integrations, together with a new panel that takes up 10% of the height of the screen below, filled with features I don't use (planner, inbox).

And there are basic fundamental things - being able to write and read the text comfortably (namely, comments, which could be an essential part of working with the data within the card for some people).

If Trello doesn't respect the basics, my guess is that no one will need those whistles. If I saw this design in the new app, I would pass by. The issue is that I have used Trello for 10 years and have a lot of data stored in the comments. Now I have to transfer them somewhere else manually, which is very painful. For those who use Trello as a simple to-do-list that should be fine, but there are many scenarios how users could use Trello.

Besides, it is very inconsistent - in the Trello android app, comments are under the Card description (like it always was everywhere before), whereas in the web the comments are a tiny area on the right of the screen now. I hope the Trello Team understands that sometimes people use Trello on both the app and web. So when I switch from app to web, UI is jumping around.

"The core Trello experience is still intact"

That's not true!

I get that making things 'neater' and 'cleaner' can be appealing for new users, but long time users don't want only 'pretty' things..

We want efficiency and RAW POWER! ⚡

Why hide things we use a lot , like power ups and atuomation buttons under a drop down inside the card? This DOUBLES the amount of clicks we have to do!!

I want to work fast, and not play an RTS with thousands of hidden options...

Put it all up front or at least give me the option to hide things IF I WANT TO!!
