deleting orphan calendar entries from a deleted card

I have a board with the Calendar Power Up that syncs to my Google Calendar. Normally this works well. However, I recently did some cleaning up on that board and deleted some cards that are no longer relevant for the project.  One of these cards had had a due date, which I didn't remove before deleting the card.

The associated calendar entry for that due date still appears on my Google Calendar, and, of course, I can't delete it from the calendar, because it was put there by Trello. However, if I click the link in the appointment that should open the card I get an error message because that card does not exist.

Is there any way to remove that appointment from my Google Calendar, or will it linger as a ghost entry forever?

Hi Riia,

Unfortunately, Google Calendar can be pretty slow to update subscribed calendars. This is determined by the app reading the feed, rather than by Trello. What some users have done is to use the Cronofy Power-Up instead of the iCal feed: https://info.trello.com/power-ups/cronofy

This card should go away over time from your Google Calendar, so hopefully this has been removed now though.

Thanks!

Ryan
