You were not an administrator of this board, you cannot reopen it

Hello, I've been using Trello for many years, and yesterday afternoon, I suddenly lost access to one of my boards. It seems to have been closed. The message "You were not an administrator of this board, you cannot reopen it." appears when I try to open it. The problem is, I was definitely the administrator of this board, and I don't know what to do now. Does anyone have a solution? I should mention that I've been using the free version for years... Thank you for your help.

Hello @Christian LACHAUX 

That message usually means Trello no longer sees your current account as a board admin for that board.

On the Free plan, that matters a lot, because Workspace admin is not enough there. Free Workspace admins do not automatically control all boards, and only a board admin can reopen a closed board. 

So check first that you are logged into the same Atlassian account that had admin access before. If another board admin still exists, that person needs to reopen it or add you back.

If no board admin is available anymore, the documented fallback is upgrading the Workspace to Standard/Premium, because that gives Workspace admins control over all boards in the Workspace.

Thank you for your reply. Once I have Premium access, will I be able to recover the closed table and how?
