Sup y'all. Thanks for keeping Trello in such great shape. Not sure if you are aware of the following:
I’ve been seeing the “You are disconnected from Trello” message fairly often, even when my connection is stable. Have you tested this with Chrome on Ubuntu? Over the past few years it has appeared intermittently -- sometimes flashing briefly for days in a row, sometimes (recently) sticking for a while. Either way, never with any real loss of connectivity. It’s reached a point where I’ve learned to ignore it, which is a shame because the feature itself is genuinely useful.
Thanks so much for taking a look, and wishing you all the best!
Same, I get it a lot too. I'll see if I can do some digging with some of the folks in the Trello team and let you know what I find
I’ve noticed that message pop up occasionally too, even when everything seems stable, so you’re definitely not alone. It sounds like one of those edge cases where the connectivity check gets a false trigger rather than an actual network drop. Testing on Chrome for Ubuntu specifically is a great callout and could help the team narrow it down. Hopefully they can fine-tune the detection so the alert stays meaningful instead of something we all learn to ignore
