Workspace Access and Security

When I set up a workspace I have assigned users to the boards for them to access. I uncheck the box "Allow any Workspace member to join this board" and when I got back to see if it took affect it's always rechecked. Is there not a way to uncheck this box or if there is a board in a worskpace can a person in that space locate it and join it? I am referring to a free account. Thank you

Thanks. I have viewed this link and several others before posting. The feature I am referring to is not blocked out and appears available. I can uncheck it but it does not save. Does anyone know how to do this?
