I am trying to use Trello for my school Alumni.
I want some users, non-members, to use trello and watch the activities. But they should not be able to edit or delete the cards etc.
So when such non-members login to trello, can they search for the particular board using the board name ?
Regards,
Sibin.
Hi Sibin, of you set the board to public users with the link can search and see all of the content, however they are unable to add, edit or delete unless you add them as a member to the board.
Please let me know if this helps,
Jodi
Thanks Jodi..
1) unless the direct link is provided non-members cannot search the particular board even if it’s kept as public, right ?
2) the link is for accessing trello via web browsers. How about trello mobile app.. such a non member.. can he install trello and search for the public board ? I believe the user will need to create a trello account and login to app first.. any option to search the board post that ?
Regards,
Sibin
