Why is my template card overdue?

I've two template cards that now show up as overdue in my 'Cards' view, even though templates don't have a date!  I had originally created cards with due dates that I then converted to templates, and the due date field isn't visible on the template cards as you'd expect.  How can I remove them from being shows as overdue?

@Adrian Lester That's odd they're showing up even though they don't have a date, have you archived the cards? The useful thing about templates (rather than just copying cards) is that you can archive them and they still show up in the create card from template menu. If you archive those cards it might hide them from the cards view (although since this behaviour seems odd it might be worth submitting a bug report to Trello directly as well via trello.com/contact)
