Why do my gifs display as a still image?

Whenever i put in a .gif file previously, it worked just fine. However when i put in my own gif now it always display as a still image, but when my friends put in the same link/file, it works just fine?

Try restarting your computer to clear the cache, and also update your browser to the latest version.
