Neither I nor the other members of the boards are receiving notifications for the boards.  All the settings are correct.  I configured all the settings and successfully performed the test notification recommended here.  And yet, nobody is being notified.

My main need is for people to receive an email when they have cards due.  I created cards, added due dates, and then added members.  Those members should be getting emails, but nobody is, including myself.

Hi!

Since the test notification worked, your email and general settings are fine. The issue is likely in what triggers notifications for you and your members. Here are the most common causes:

1. Members must be "watching" the card or board
Simply being added as a board member isn't enough. To receive notifications about due dates, each member needs to either:
- Be added as a member of the specific card (click Members on the card and add them), or
- Manually Watch the card/board/list

Are your members added to the cards themselves, or just to the board?

2. Check email notification frequency
Go to https://trello.com/your/account → Notifications → Email Notification Frequency. Make sure it's set to "Instantly" or "Periodically" — not "Never". Each member needs to check this individually.

3. Due date reminders have specific timing
Trello sends due date reminders only at these intervals: 24 hours before and at the due date time. If you set a due date far in the future, you won't see the notification immediately. Also, make sure the due date has a specific time set (not just a date).

4. Check notification preferences granularly
In Trello → Settings → Notifications, there's a list of specific event types (due dates, card assignments, etc.). Make sure "Due Dates" is enabled.

5. Check spam/junk folders
Even though the test email arrived, subsequent emails from Trello sometimes get filtered by email providers. Worth checking.

Could you share:
- Are members added to the cards (not just the board)?
- What is each member's email notification frequency setting?
- How far in the future are the due dates set?

This will help narrow it down!
