Where are my boards?

Daniela Bada

Hi all!
I haven’t logged into my Trello for a while (more than 1 year), and when I logged in and all of my boards are gone!

Apparently there’s no way to contact customer support and I was wondering if anyone else here has had the same issue and if it was able to be resolved.
I had a lot of information that took me a lot of years to gather on them and I am a kind of desperate.
Could someone please help me?
Thank you

@Daniela Bada Is there any other email address that you may have used with Trello previously? Typically when this happens, it turns out that the original account was set up with a different email address, and so the attempt to log in again actually creates a new account because the email addresses don't match.

Hi and thank you for your reply.

Yes, but it's an old company email address that I can no longer access. A few years ago (in the 2021) I changed the address to my personal one, where a few weeks ago I received a warning to log in so as not to lose my boards before the end on November. And guess what? When I logged in (the same day I got their mail), there weren't!

I have been trying to contact the company since September in every possible way!
There's no customer service, they don't reply on social media, they've blocked messages on LinkedIn, I can't report a request and it's impossible to talk to a real person because I have a free plan.
And the result is that they have you've deleted years of my work!

Hi Daniela

You can find the dormant policy here: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/dormant-trello-account-policy/

Normally, the board can be deleted after two years of inactivity.

So, you should check if your board maybe got closed or archived.

You can raise a request here: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

Hi Brian thank for your reply.
The point is that I logged in to my account 1 year ago and everything was fine.

I have already read the Support's page, but there is no way to contact the Customer Care or the AI Chat.
Besides, I have already sent an in app feedback with no answer and the company do not even reply on social media's profile.
I tried everything I could and ask to the community was my last attempt to try to solve the problem.
I really don't know how to do :(

Finally, thanks to you, I find a way to talk to the AI Chat, that really sucks.
Apparently, as I have a free plan and I don't have a way to contact a real person to talk to.
Besides, the support page is totally useless to me because I can't open a ticket since I can't submit the request because the URL I insert apparently it doesn't exist, even I am logged to my account!
I am frustrated.
