Indeed, the UI has been updated.  Quite some people are not being happy with this.

This is a horrible update. I don't even begin to understand how much time and effort went into so many bad decisions. Should Adobe and Figma remove all of their toolbars, which everyone is accustomed to using? So foolish

Yes, they ruined it in one update. This is one of the worst updates I have ever seen in the tech space, period. Really really bad.
