Ok,
Strange question. Years ago we started using Trello, sporadically. Now we have moved over and embraced Atlassian completely. With Jira, Jira Service Desk, OpsGenie, and Confluence. My question is this.
I want to delete the space we have and remove all the boards and start fresh. I want to remove all guests and everything. I am not the original dev that set up Trello but I am the site admin for everything else.
My endgame is to have Trello set back up with premium for @ 5 users, not our entire org.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi @Patrick Lloyd 👋
It's not a strange question at all. First question, although someone else set up the account are you the site admin for Trello now?
Trello have since moved boards into workspaces which is something you may or may not have seen depending on how recently you've used your account. To start with a blank slate you could delete the current workspaces and create a new one...
You can delete a Workspace by going to your Workspace's page in Trello, clicking on the "Settings" tab, and then clicking the "Delete this Workspace" link. You must be an admin to delete the Workspace.
Deleting a Workspace is permanent and there is no undo. Boards within the Workspace won’t be deleted. Instead, your boards in this Workspace will be closed. You can find and reopen closed boards by visiting https://trello.com/my/boards. You will be required to select a Workspace for the board when reopening it.
If the Workspace still has an active Standard or Premium subscription, then you will need to cancel the subscription first before being able to delete the Workspace.
Doing this will remove guests, close boards and it just leaves whoever within the organisation that is attached to the account which you should be able to manage if you are the admin of the entire account.
I hope this makes sense and helps but if you have any more questions just ask away 😃
All the best,
Laura
Thanks for all your help. That worked. The only other question I have is about billing, maybe you can help. Is Trello billing like JIRA or JIRA Service desk. What I mean by that is I have 15 users in JIRA so we pay for 15. I have only one user authorized for JIRA Service Desk. With Trello, I don't want all 15 JIRA users to be able to use it, maybe myself and the executive team. It's been hard enough for me to get them to use and understand JIRA and Trello may end up being only me using it after a few months.

Brilliant, we're on the way to having you all setup and running then 😊
In terms of billing, Trello operates on a price per member per workspace. That doesn't mean you need to have all 15 users on Trello, I'd work out who fundamentally needs access and who potentially only need input at certain points.
For example, some teams collaborate on a one-off basis with outside contractors, interns, or clients. These one-off collaborators may not need all of the functionality or administrative control that comes with Workspace membership. In these situations, teams can add users to their Workspace boards as guests.
Just bare in mind that while all guests are free on free Workspace boards, guests on Premium and Standard Workspace boards can incur an additional charge.
There are also multi-board guests
Multi-board guests are users that are not a member of a Standard or Premium Workspace but have been invited to more than one Workspace board.
Like Workspace members, multi-board guests can be added to unlimited Workspace boards. Also like Workspace members, if a user ceases to be a multi-board guest during a billing term, then the seat will become available for a new billable user (either Workspace member or multi-board guest) for the rest of the billing term.
For example, if a Workspace is on a monthly subscription, and a multi-board guest is removed mid-month, a new Workspace member or multi-board guest can be added without the account being charged for a new billable user during the month.
Multi-board guests are billed at the same rate as a normal Workspace member.

I hope that all makes sense 😃
