Hi everyone,
I’m having trouble accessing my Trello account and would really appreciate any guidance.
The account was originally created with the email:
manoelfilho@tres1.com.br
However, the domain tres1.com.br has been discontinued, so I no longer have access to that email and cannot receive verification codes or password reset emails.
Because of this, I completely lost access to my account around December 2025.
The account contains important boards for my work, and I need to recover access if possible.
Has anyone faced a similar situation or knows the best way to recover an Atlassian/Trello account when the original email domain no longer exists?
I already tried the standard recovery options, but they all require access to the original email.
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Welcome to the community!
Unfortunately, Trello account recovery is very limited if you no longer control the original email address.
In general, recovery works only if you can still log in with the existing credentials or receive mail at the account’s current email; for security reasons, support usually can’t just swap the email to a new one on request.
If you still know the password and can log in some other way, change the Atlassian account email immediately. Otherwise, the best remaining option is usually to regain temporary access to the old domain/email or work with whoever controlled that domain.
Hi, thank you for your response.
In this case, the situation is a bit more critical.
The original email domain (tres1.com.br) was permanently discontinued and no longer exists, so there is absolutely no way to recover access to that email or receive any messages from it.
Because of that, I cannot use any of the standard recovery options, since all of them depend on access to the original email address.
The account contains important operational data, and losing access to it would have a significant impact.
Is there any alternative process for identity verification or escalation in cases where the original domain no longer exists?
I can provide full details about the account (workspace name, boards, members, last access, etc.) to confirm ownership if needed.
I would really appreciate any guidance or direction in this situation.
