I'm relatively new to using Trello and have a question about board visibility in a premium workspace. Currently, I am the sole admin of a premium workspace, which includes one additional member with 'normal' access.
From my understanding, this setup means the 'normal' member can automatically view all 'workspace visible' boards. However, I'm unsure about the visibility of private boards. If I create a private board, would I need to explicitly add this member for them to access it?
Any insights or clarifications on this would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
Hi @Chris W ,
Welcome to the Atlassian Team!
You're right; a "normal" member can automatically view all of the visible workspace boards. However, when it comes to private boards, by default, only members explicitly added to the private board can view, join, or edit.
A user will not automatically see any private boards you create unless you invite them and them as members to those specific boards.
So yes, you're thinking is right- if you create a private board, you would need to give them access.
