Unable to create a new Workspace - please verify account limits / issue

Hello,

 

I need your help verifying an issue with my Trello account. I’m unable to create any additional Workspaces. I can create boards, but only within the Workspaces I already have. The option to create a new Workspace is either missing or the action doesn’t complete.

 

At the moment, I have access to 3 Workspaces. Could you please confirm whether my account is subject to a Workspace limit (e.g., due to my plan/billing), or if this is a platform issue?

 

If it’s a plan limitation, please let me know:

 

  • what the exact Workspace limit is for my account/plan,

  • how I can increase it (upgrade path or any other required steps).

I see you mentioned that the option to create a workspace is missing. Could you please let me know what you see when you follow the instructions below?

To create a new Workspace:

  1. Select your profile icon in your Trello header

  2. Choose Create Workspace

Yes, exactly - it was changed in the UX and it’s now hidden. Everything looks good!

Hi @Paweł Kabata 

On Trello, the Free plan typically allows up to 10 Workspaces, so having access to only 3 should not prevent you from creating more. If you can create boards but not new Workspaces, the issue is most likely due to admin permissions or a temporary browser/platform glitch.

I recommend checking your plan under Billing, trying an incognito window or different browser or Trello Desktop and confirming whether your account is part of a Trello Enterprise setup. If none of these apply, it’s likely a platform issue and Trello Support should be able to investigate further...
