Trigger based on checklist item due date

Is there a trigger for when a checklist item is due? I don't see the option. (I know there are workarounds - just wanted to verify that this trigger hasn't been implemented and I am just missing it before I implement a workaround.)

This is still not supported. But there are workarounds. Here's one: 

Convert the item to a card: One approach is to automate the creation of a new card from the checklist item when it is added, carrying over the name, due date, and assigned member. This new card can then use all the standard card-level automation triggers.
