Hi Trello Community,
I am reaching out regarding an issue with the Trello for Gmail add-on within our Google Workspace for Nonprofits domain. Currently, the add-on is completely non-functional for our users and throws a 404 error.
Error message: 404. That’s an error. The requested URL /addon-link-not-allowlisted was not found on this server. That’s all we know.
What we have already verified:
Google Workspace Admin Settings: As the domain administrator, I have verified that the add-on is fully trusted, allowed for the organization, and all data/OAuth access permissions have been explicitly granted.
Browser Settings: We have verified that third-party cookies are fully enabled in Google Chrome. The issue persists across different browsers and in incognito mode as well.
Based on the Google Workspace error code (/addon-link-not-allowlisted), it appears there is a mismatch or a missing URL prefix in the add-on's manifest file (such as openLinkUrlPrefixes or urlFetchWhitelist) following recent Google security updates.
Could you please look into this and let me know if this is a known bug or when an updated version of the add-on will be deployed to the Google Workspace Marketplace?
Thank you for your help.
Best regards Stepanka
Hello @Štěpánka Kovaříková
The /addon-link-not-allowlisted path strongly indicates that a required URL is missing from the add-on's manifest, which can only be fixed on the development side. There is currently an active Trello for Gmail bug tracked under TRELLO-1608.
For now, use Trello's native email-to-board feature. I highly recommend posting your exact error message to that Jira ticket to help Atlassian's team debug the regression.
Best,
Arkadiusz🤠
OK. Thanks :-)
