Trello card visibility, comments and image loading issue

sudi.gautam October 6, 2020

Hi

Could you please advise on the following issues:

1) I created a Trello card but it was visible from my end but it was not visible from another work colleague's end but when I change the status then only it was visible.

2) Uploaded images and comments in the Trello were not visible for half an hour on my board which was updated by coworkers.

Thanks

Which status are you particularly referring to, and its most likely to be a refresh issue with the browser, rather than Trello.

If you have a very active board, would be beneficial to refresh before using with reliance.

I can understand it might be a refresh issue with no 2. but what about no 1. My coworkers were not able to see the card for 2 days but he was seeing the status of the other cards.

That should not be the case, it should be relatively instant so to speak, matter of days ... only thing I can think is maybe the browser has not refreshed the cache and is taking from its last page full download to speed the browser up.

May need to change the cache setting, empty or there is the ability, think its F5 on most browsers ... google to check ... for forced reload NOT from cachce.

Cache is the internet litter on your had drive, where it dumps files & pages you have been to, so that it can get them from there rather than download afresh each time to speed your page loads up.  Can only think thats the problem.

I know on websites I create, I set the cache reload time on the page to once every 24 hrs for static stuff, and 1 every hour for other so that regardless of what a users computer is set to, once the tag has expired, it forces download.  If there is no tag, as would be the case on a live board, but you get the gist.

I put a response in saying to do a non-cache browser refresh ... force it via one of the F keys ... google for which browser your using.
