Trello/Slack notification when user is tagged in Trello comment

My team needs more granular notifications for Trello comments. I would like for members to be emailed only when they are mentioned (@) in a Trello comment. This doesn't seem possible with Trello notifications. 

In my research on using the Slack power-up I cannot verify whether a user mention (@) in a Trello comment could automatically send the user a direct slack message. Are either of those scenarios possible?

Hi Vinod - Thank you for doing some research for me. I had seen that article as well, but it doesn't speak to my specific use case unfortunately.
