Trello Slack Power-Up alert setup is not showing all available Slack channels

Hi everyone,

I’m seeing what looks like a possible bug with the Slack Power-Up in Trello when setting up a new alert.

In the Slack selection modal, after choosing the workspace, the channel dropdown does not show all available Slack channels. It only shows a limited subset of channels and direct messages, even though there are more channels in the workspace that should be available to select.

What I’m seeing:

• Workspace is selected correctly
• Channel dropdown opens
• Only some channels appear
• Other expected Slack channels are missing from the list

I’ve attached a screenshot for reference.

I’m trying to confirm whether:

1. this is a known limitation,
2. a permissions/sync issue,
3. or an actual bug in the Slack Power-Up integration.

Has anyone else run into this? If so, did you find a fix or workaround?

Okay, so the problem was the account access -- I was loging in from an account with a member-only access to the board. Loged in with admin access, problem solved.
