Trello Desktop App - Opens on archived board

When opening the desktop app, it always opens on an archived board no longer available to me. How do I get the app to open on either Home or the last used board?

It's up in the Boards menu (the Mac menu at top of your computer).  There is a 'Reset Default Board' option for example.

How do you do this on a PC, rather than Mac? Looking at   https://help.trello.com/article/1095-trello-desktop-apps that Vero posted above, the menu on the Mac has more options that I cannot access.
