Hi,
The language of the interface of Trello changed from english to russian on it's own, for the second time in a few months.
Both times the issue appeared in Trello when using it on a web browser. In the Android app this did not happen.
If this is based on user location (I am in Lithuania), then, considering the history of my country, and what ruzzia is doing to our neighbour (and is willing to do to us too), this is an insult.
Is anyone else experiencing something similar?
Hi @Antanas Lasys ,
Welcome to the community!
I understand how frustrating and upsetting it must be to see the Trello interface language switch unexpectedly, especially given the context.
Trello’s web interface language is usually determined by a combination of:
Your Atlassian account language setting
Your browser’s preferred language settings
Occasionally, your IP location (if the other settings are unclear), though this is rare
The Android app typically follows your device’s language settings, which is why you may not see the same issue there.
Here are some steps you can try to resolve this:
Check your Atlassian account language: Go to your account preferences and ensure English is selected.
Check your browser’s language settings: For example, in Chrome, you can manage this in Settings > Languages. Here’s a help thread for Chrome: Chrome keeps defaulting to the wrong language.
Clear cookies and cache: Sometimes, cached preferences can override your selected language. Clearing these may help.
