The board is now showing as closed, but I did not close it

I had admin access to a Trello board named "Benenutri".

https://trello.com/b/2GnO5lJD/benenutri

The board is now showing as closed, but I did not close it.

I also have email history with updates and notifications from this board, which confirms that I had access and was actively using it.

However, I cannot find the board in the closed boards list, and I’m unable to reopen it.

It seems to have been closed or removed unexpectedly.

Could you please investigate what happened and restore my access to this board?

If needed, I can provide screenshots or email evidence of my access.

How do I get Blair to assist me as the same has happened to a number of my boards?

@Blair at Atlassian how do I open my board?  I am sure I was admin but now it says I am not admin....  Why are our boards being closed all of a sudden?

Hi @Rose Eedes - It might be because the original board admin deleted their account and the board was closed. Existing board admin should be able to reopen the board. If you cannot, share the board URL with me and I can look into it!

Yes and it looks like my entire workspace has vanished???

@Leah Nugent it should be possible for you to reopen the board now. Give it a try and let me know if you need any help.

@Rose EedesFrom what I can see, there were a few users you’d collaborated with on Trello boards years ago, like Mary Anne and Tiggy. Those users hadn’t logged into Trello for more than 2 years, so their accounts were deleted in line with our Dormant Account Policy.

When a Trello account is deleted, that account is removed from all boards. If the deleted account was the only admin on a board that still has other members, the board ends up with no admin. Only an admin can reopen a closed board, so if a board becomes closed and has no admin, Trello Support can review the situation and look into options to help. It appears that’s what happened with some of the boards you were a member of.

((If the deleted user was the last remaining member on a board, that board is deleted along with the account.))

We’ve now granted you admin access to board https://trello.com/b/tITDF00H so you can reopen it. Please give that a try and see if everything looks as expected.
