Hey,

EDIT 2: I FIXED IT! I needed to re-install safari, clear all the data, and turn off automatic cookies blocking.

EDIT: The problem is present only with Safari. The same error pops up when I try to log in through browser (Safari) instead of the app. It works normally on different browsers, but then it won’t let me authorize the app log in. Not sure how to fix that

Suddenly the Trello app logged me out. As I tried to log back in, it directs me to id.atlassian.com and it makes me input my email and password. After that, instead of logging me in, it says "Something went wrong while attempting to validate your credentials". The problem is fresh, and occurs only on my iPhone - the app works perfectly well on my computer or tablet.

Need help on how to fix this/successfully log in. Thanks Guys!

Trello automatically logged me out of my account randomly yesterday too. Then, when attempting to sign back in, it wanted me to verify my account by sending a code to my email. That code never came through. I pressed the link to resend the code several times throughout the day, but I never received that email.

To make matters worse, the only way to get in touch with support on Trello or Atlassian is to log in. But if the problem you're having is log-in issues, what good is that?

I think it was a bug as the verification emails finally came through after 11pm last night, but I missed a whole day of work because I couldn't get into my account and couldn't contact support without logging in.

This is not user-friendly at all. What kind of system makes you log in to get support? What do the people do who can't get into their accounts because of a LOG IN ISSUE? Requiring them to log in does not help lol, a huge oversight on their end.

My boss had the same issue, so I could not look to her or our IT team for help. They really should have a way to contact support without having to log in for those people whose issue is - LOGGING IN!! Not very tech-smart for a tech company.

Maybe someone here can help you, because there's no help from Atlassian or Trello!

I agree completely! Why do I need to log-in to access support, if I need support to log-in? So counterintuitive!!

I’m glad it worked out for you, I’m still logged-out with no way in. The same notification keeps popping up, about the credentials.

However, I’ve noticed that after I choose an option to be redirected to an external browser (not default safari log-in), I can easily log-in, but then it won’t let me authorize the app!!

I’m not sure what’s happening, but I’m not exaggerating when saying that Trello keeps my shit together, and I need this resolved asap!

As of Friday, the person is still having problems logging in. He is still getting

“User is not assigned to this application” error.  I've tried different browsers but I'm not having an issues.

I honestly don't know what to do or tell him.

Hi @Becky Reinhold ,

Could you please request the user to try the following: Go to Settings > Apps > Safari and toggle on Prevent Cross-Site Tracking to disable it and check if its working.

I'll let them know but I'm not sure they use Safari.  They may be using Chrome or Edge.  Also I believe they are on a computer.  Won't know more until they are back in the office next week.
