It would be great to split a card and leaving all unfinished items on one card, and the finished ones in another.

Scenario:
I have a card with several Checklist, some of them have completed items.
When I move the card to another column, it would be great to have an option, something like 'Splint unfinished checklists', that creates a copy of the card only with the unfinished items, and remove these items from the original card. Then move it as requested.

This would be super useful when you partially finish something, and have to switch to another card.

For example, you make your supermarket list, you don't buy everything on the list, but you want to automatically create a new Supermarket card with the pending items.

Hi @gepatino great suggestions! You could submit a feature request to Trello requesting this enhancement, here are the details: https://help.trello.com/article/724-submitting-feature-requests-for-trello

In the meantime you can choose the option of hiding the items that are completed in your checklist so that they are in a clean list inside the card.

There is also a Hide Completed Items for Trello Chrome extension:

Hope this helps,

Jodi

That’s a really very good idea it would save so much time! Having Trello automatically split completed and pending checklist items into separate cards would make things like supermarket lists or project tasks way easier to manage.
