Olá, equipe Atlassian!
Atualmente, estou bloqueado na minha conta do Trello devido a um sistema antigo de autenticação de dois fatores por SMS. Estou recebendo a seguinte mensagem:
A autenticação de dois fatores via SMS, exclusiva do Trello, não é mais compatível. Insira um código de recuperação ou entre em contato com o suporte para recuperar sua conta.
O suporte me redirecionou para a comunidade aqui.
Você poderia por favor me ajudar?
Obrigado
Yes, I am having this problem.
Since I don’t know how to speak in English, I copied a problem I’m having that is the same as the one the colleague described earlier.
Hi @Marcelo Ramori ,
I've started the process to remove Legacy 2FA from your account. You should soon receive an email notifying you that the recovery process has begun. After a 24-hour (security delay), you'll receive a second email with a link to recover your account.
The recovery link in the second email will expire in 12 hours. Please click the link and enter your password to disable two-step verification.
Note: To disable 2FA, make sure you remember and enter your old Trello account password.
Thank you !

Hmm.. It is really interesting and strange that when translating this post from Portuguese to English it sounds exactly like the post from November 2025 (including even same title) ...
Hello Atlassian team,
I am currently locked out of my Trello account due to a legacy two-factor authentication system via SMS. I am receiving the following message:
“Two-factor authentication via SMS, exclusive to Trello, is no longer supported. Enter a recovery code or contact support to recover your account.”
Support redirected me to the community here.
Could you please help me?
Thank you
So not quite sure if this is actually a real problem or maybe something not quite true to believe that was posted by a human ..
Anyway I hope that someone would be able to check it and if you really have a problem - help you recover the account like on the other post @Sakshi Verma did (but BTW - not sure why "support redirect" people when only support can recover this.. ) .

Thank you for clarifying @Marcelo Ramori and @Sakshi Verma for jumping in to help.
We are closely monitoring this community for any spam related posts or something that is not quite posted by humans that are actually having problems so this was a very strange pattern that people are copying exactly the same text and changing the language..
BTW - It is overall most likely that you receive a support in English than in Portuguese :)
I noticed already few posts with the same title but at least content was always different
@Sakshi Verma - if this is a common problem do we have a KB or something related how users can proceed when having a Free Trello plan - or maybe there is somewhere a procedure to copy existing post so that you can help them? :)
@Marcelo Ramori - I hope that soon you would be again able to use Trello :)
Cumprimentos! :)
