Put a line feed or carriage return in a checklist item

When I type a checklist item I cannot force a line feed or carriage return in the text.  In most text boxes throughout the world <Shift><Enter> or <Ctrl><Enter> will force a line feed.  However in Trello the Enter key always executes the Save button even when preceded by Shirt or Ctrl.

For example, if I want to type the following into a checklist item ...

Whatever
More info on another line
And more info another line

... I can't do it.

Is there a way to force a line feed in a checklist item text?

@JoeHaganUnfortunately this in not possible.

A checklist treats each line as a new item.  The only way around this is to type many _ or . until the line wraps.
