I've been using the free version of Trello for years. I've started getting promotional popups to refer friends, etc. They clutter my board and I have to minimize it each time I open the page.
I can't have this kind of distraction in my productivity tool. Curious, does the standard plan or any other plan remove this? I didn't see it specifically listed under their plan comparisons. If not, I will need switch to a different tool as this is not optional for me.
Hi @Tyler Hill
I can understand there being some things like this in the free version but I need to prepare you that although the Trello related pop-ups disappear in Standard and Premium.
Atlassian are still pumping Jira related popups all over Trello in paid plans, which is a real bugbear of mine. I wish they would stop but they have this cockeyed notion that Jira is a good fit for Trello users, which in my experience couldn't be further from the truth!
Hi Tyler,
Apologies for the distraction. This messaging should not be expanded on each visit. It is intended to remain minimized once you've minimized it. Trello stores this in your browser, so if it expanding on subsequent visits that could be due to clearing of your browser state.
The referral promotion would not show on boards in the standard plan, but the same is not true for all messaging.
I understand this is getting in the way of your productivity. This should be resolved for you shortly.
All the best,
Steve
