Hello, i am a project manager and i create some tasks in a project.

I assign task to people for completion.

Unfortunately, these people are then able to modify, delete, change deadlines, change assignees....and this becomes not manageble.

Is there a way to limit other users actions only on completion/not completion and comments, based on assignments?

Thanks

Luca

For the permissions, you can assign :

Member types

  • Admins can view and edit cards, remove members, and change board settings.
  • Normal members can view and edit cards, but can't change board settings.
  • Observers can view, comment, and vote on cards. However, they can't move or edit cards, nor can they change settings.

But, if you want to assign some restrictions to a member, about due date for example.

You can do something like this.

A master board in wich you are the only member and you save the duedate. A slave board for the all other members, in wich the cards are copied from the master board.

And you can create a rule to overwrite an unauthorised update.
