Option to disable auto card cover creation

Hi i am looking to disable automatic card cover creation. Is there one? Or addon/powerup/integration which will automatically remove/allow to disable selectively?

I mean i found option to disable card covers, but it is NOT what I am looking for as I do need some cards with covers, and id...i mean users are creating cards with covers which is making a mess from boards.

You could remove the buttons in the browser but you would require a browser extension.
