Notification bell missing from my cards

I'm currently using the new BETA version of Trello and I have noticed that an important feature is missing.

I usually work from the view "My Cards": https://trello.com/u/me/cards
Here I always sort my cards based on deadline and in the version of Trello that is not in the BETA, there will always be a red notification bell and a number of how many unread updates there are in a card. But this notification seems to be completely missing from the new BETA-version of the page.

This is a very important feature for me and without it I'm clueless about when someone has made an update on a card I'm a part of.

Hi there,

Thank you for pointing this out! You are absolutely right—the red notification bell and the unread update count are essential for staying on top of team collaborations in the "My Cards" view.

Since you are using a BETA version, it is very likely that the developers are still migrating specific UI elements or testing a "cleaner" look, and your feedback is exactly what they need to hear.

Here is what I recommend doing:

Submit Feedback Directly: Look for a "Give Feedback" button or a BETA badge specifically on that page. Since this affects your ability to track updates, mention that this is a "Blocker for my daily workflow." The product team prioritizes features that prevent users from seeing updates.

Check "Filters" in BETA: Sometimes the new BETA views have a "Filter" or "Display Settings" toggle. Check if there is an option to "Show Notifications" or "Highlight Unread" that might be turned off by default in the new layout.

Temporary Rollback: If this feature is too vital to lose right now, check if there is an option to "Opt-out of BETA" or "Switch back to classic view" (usually found under your profile settings or a toggle on the top right).

Desktop App vs. Web: If you are using the Trello Desktop App, try checking the Web version (and vice versa). Sometimes the BETA is only pushed to one platform at a time.

Why this matters: Trello's strength is its visual cues. Without the "unread" indicator, "My Cards" becomes just a static list rather than a live dashboard.

I’ll keep an eye on this as well to see if other BETA users are reporting the same. Hopefully, the red bell makes a comeback in the next update!
