I use Trello a TON, but not so much for daily to-do items. But I've started a new board to keep track of my daily to-do's. Some of these cards need to repeat daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. I tried the card repeater power up but it just made my cards breed like rabbits. Not helpful.
What feature, rule, or powerup will take something like pay the bills every Friday or send out invoices on the 28th of each month and just automatically refresh them to the next date?
Card repeater is a great little power-up, especially if you have a board structured in a
to-do > doing > done
style...
Are you using Free Trello or paid?
Automating recurring tasks will most likely see you hit your quota if you are on the free version but I'll structure the example based around that and use labels instead of a custom field.
Create labels called 'Daily', 'Weekly', 'Fortnightly', 'Monthly'
Create the automation:
This automation is for Monthly, copy this automation and set the conditions for Daily, weekly, fortnightly etc...
You'll end up with 4 rules
