Not noticed when items checked in checklists

When some collegues check items in the checklists, I get noticed by a red bell appearing on the card but it doesn't seem to work with others. Do you know what can be the cause of this problem?

@marie-claire_bedard this will only happen when you're watching the card (or list/board in which the card resides):

Thank you for your answer! I will make other tests but  with some collegues it's not working even if I am watchin the card...
