I work at the university of bern and have an issue with 3 Users.. 2 of them can't login anymore because there was trouble with the new account that was automatically created by the university of bern. We changed from "@iml.unibe.ch" to @"@unibe.ch" few years ago.. the people who still had "@iml.unibe.ch" are experiecing trouble with logins..
The third User i want to prevent to have the same problem but the constelation with the email are the same as by the other two.

Trello support team will not be able to change the account email. Your university IT admin can change the email associated with your account.
First have them claim the account (seems like they might have already done that)
Then have them use the public API endpoint to initiate an email change for the account:
POST to https://api.atlassian.com/users/<AAID>/email/initiate-change
Body: { "email":"<newEmail>" }
