No access to card

I have a card with a checklist. Behind one of the items in the checklist I have included a link to another card on the same board. I then see the Trello sign followed by the name of the relevant card.

The members of the card with the checklist do not see a Trello sign, but only a URL. When they click on that URL, they get the following message: "You do not have permission to view the requested card". How is this possible? The members are just like me a team member.

@Saskiamaybe the card is on a private board, not on a team board.  To see that, go to your home page, and make sure the board of the card is inside the team.  If not, you can copy/move the board into the team.
