Hi everyone,
I’m contacting the community because I need assistance with a technical limitation I’m facing in Trello.
On one of my boards, I can see the full activity history by opening the Activity section in the board menu. However, I can’t find any option to export or download the complete activity log, including all actions, comments, movements, and historical records from the beginning of the board until its last activity.
I would like to know:
Is there any way to export the full activity history of a board into a document or downloadable format?
Is this something Trello support can generate upon request?
Are there any power-ups, tools, or methods (native or external) that allow exporting the entire activity timeline?
Thanks in advance for any guidance or help you can provide.
Hi @Agustín González
It is not a built in feature and I don't know of any power-ups to do it.
It could be done via the Trello API, using Zapier or Make but depending on the board age and how much activity there has been, this will be a very intensive process.
Is this a 1 off or a regular occurence?
Hi Mike, thanks so much for your quick reply.
This would be a one-off request.
The board was active for around six months and the activity level was moderate — not extremely heavy, but definitely with daily movement during that period. I mainly need to extract the full chronological activity log from start to finish.
Do you think it would be feasible to do this through the Trello API for a board of that size and duration?
Or would you recommend a more efficient method to retrieve the complete activity history?
Any guidance you can share would be incredibly helpful.
Thanks again for your time and expertise.
