My cards view - why was it removed and is there an alternative?

Olivier Kraft June 9, 2025

Hi,

Can you help me understand why Trello decided to drop the 'My cards' view from the app? I use multiple boards and need a consolidated overview of all my open cards ranked by due date. The search function doesn't let me rank my cards, so the new app makes it very difficult to track what's due over the next few days without looking through all boards.

I'm sure this must be a very common use case so I'm surprised it's no longer supported by the app.

Please advise.

Thanks!

Oli

It is accessible at https://trello.com/my/cards

Thanks Gaurav. Yes, it is still accessible via the browser. But it was removed from the app, which is how I access Trello the most.

Can you clarify the rationale behind removing it from the app? How can I get a consolidated and ranked list of all pending cards in the app?

Thanks!

You can get all your cards that are due today by searching for "@me due:day" (It is a default search option on both Android and iOS)

Thanks Gaurav. As I said in my messages, what I need is a list that (1) includes all open cards AND (2) ranks these cards according to their due date. This is exactly what the 'My Cards' view achieves in the browser (and what it used to do in the app as well).

Using the search function doesn't allow me to rank cards. Also, it wouldn't show cards that are overdue or the ones with a due date coming up soon.

Please advise. It's a real mystery why you would remove this feature from the app (but keep it in the browser, which clearly shows that it serves a valid use case)

Hi @Gaurav Kataria did you have any further thoughts on this? Is it possible to pass this on to the product team and get some feedback on how they envision the user journey to work? Thanks

Hi, tagging product management on this ticket. It cannot be that Trello makes significant changes to the app, disrupting the UX, and then doesn't engage with user feedback. I do like the Trello design and would like to keep using it, but might start looking for alternative options if I cannot sort all my cards in a single place.

Thanks,

Oli
