I have a free JIRA cloud account which I use for testing API integrations for customers.  I have been using it on/off for years, and most-recently in November. Today when I want in, it says deactivated due to inactivity, please contact support before your data is deleted.

As I'm on a free account, I cannot contact support.

@Ryan Wrike

When you have a Free subscription, if you do not access the data for 120 consecutive days Atlassian will consider the subscription inactive and will deactivate it.

They will send you email notifications as your subscription is nearing the point of 120 days of inactivity.

They will send you an email when they actually do deactivate it.

They will retain the data for a period of time after deactivation to give you an opportunity to reactivate it. According to this document the time period depends on your subscription and billing experience, and will between 15 and 60 days.

If you are still within the retention period then you can reactivate your subscription.

After the retention period expires the data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Thank you for the quick reply!  I was able to reactivate from billing. Life saver.

What actions constitute activity? Would just changing a single field or status do the trick?
