I've been using Trello on work and private account for some time. When Atlassian stepped in, I was forced to use only one account and I chose the work-account for this.(I don't want client-work to be associated with my personal account)
Now i'm changing employers, and I want to move my private boards to my new personal account. However, due to a new roll out of a week ago, I cannot add myself to a private board and delete the old me. I am forced to create a 'team' for that.
But this is not what I want, I only want to move a board from one personal account to another. Could someone please help out with some hints?

no, I did not. Before Atlassian took over Trello, I had two different emailaccounts associated with my one trello account. A personal one and a work one.
Since Trello required me to only use one email address, I chose the work one for my account.
My new personal account also has a different email address.

Ah yes, If you have a 2nd email adress, you need to make a 2nd Atlassian account with the 2nd email and your boards will be back

Thanks for your help; If I understand correctly: If I create a new Trello / atlassian account with the old email that was associated with my private board before, i would get my private boards (that are now associated with my work email address) also in my private account?
I tried that, and unfortunately, this does not work.
It is not that I want my boards 'back', It is that I want to switch them from my work-account to my private account. So the boards were never gone. Does that maybe narrow the problem down, or do I not understand you correctly?

Ah, I thank it changed something but not. Sorry for the mistake...
Unfortunately, I don't have the real answer of the question because I use only 1 Trello account
