Trello is asking for a separate 2FA code that is specific to my Trello account, which is different from my Atlassian login 2FA.
I lost my Trello's 2FA set up, how to recover it? There is no other option in the login page:
What I tried but no help:
- reset Trello acc > it will reset my whole Atlassian login but not Trello
- reset/enable/disable Atlassian 2FA > done nothing for Trello 2FA
What can I do now? Thanks a lot.
Hi Ken! Welcome to Trello community! I checked here and I see that you have the Trello legacy 2FA enabled.
Here's what you can expect next:
1) I've started the process to remove 2FA from your account. You should soon receive an email notifying you that the recovery process has begun.
2)After a 24-hour (security delay), you'll receive a second email with a link to recover your account.
3)The recovery link in the second email will expire in 12 hours. Please click the link and enter your password to disable two-step verification.
In order to disable the 2FA you should remember your old Trello account password.
Hope that helps!
Hi thanks for your help!
However, the recovery link was already expired (Token has expired) when I noted the recovery email was received.
Would you please send me the recovery link again? Thanks a lot!
