Hi! We used to have a board called Copays and the admin that created it deleted their account and the board is gone. How could we get it back?
I’ve had a board pull a disappearing act on me before, and the trick was checking the Workspace boards list while sorting by date. Mine was buried way down because someone else edited it last. I’d also peek at the Workspace trash and the closed boards page just in case someone clicked the wrong button. If you were a guest, the owner might need to re-add you after a permission change.
Hi Camryn!
Unfortunately, if the admin deleted their account, recovering the board is not straightforward. Try following the official Atlassian instructions for restoring access: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/changing-the-admins-of-a-workspace-or-board/
To avoid this situation in the future, the Board Assistant Power-Up has a dedicated section that shows all board administrators across your workspace and highlights boards that have only one admin — so you can act before it becomes a problem.

Thanks for the reply! We have other admins still we just want help recovering the board that is missing. Should the other admins be able to see any previous boards?
