Lost access to Trello board after workspace admin left – board closed

I lost access to a Trello board after the workspace administrator left the organization.

The board was closed this morning.

I was a legitimate member of the board (not an admin).

Could a Trello team member help recover the board or reassign access?

Unfortunately, I have the same problem. My former team leader neglected to transfer the necessary permissions to me, and for years (!!!), I've been working alone on the board without any access issues. Today I received the message:

"The team board is closed.

You are a member of this board, but only board admins can reopen it. Please contact support for assistance."

How can I regain access, become an admin of the board, or copy the board to my own space?
